Worker killed by metal part on A8 tunnel site

Shortly after 16:15 the metal element struck a 29-year-old construction worker on the head during the lift. He died at the scene despite resuscitation.

When lifting: nobody in the load’s danger zone, sling it securely and guide it with tag lines, not by hand. Only lift once the area is clear.
