Hand trapped in loader crane grab

08/09/2026 · Pragg-Jenaz (GR) · Agriculture · Seriously injured

A 36-year-old man was unloading silage bales from a truck with a crane. His hand got caught in the grab. He was able to call for help himself.

Never guide or adjust a grab by hand while the crane can move. Lone work needs an emergency plan – luckily here the injured man could raise the alarm himself.
