Accident on a facade under renovation kills two

According to media reports, a hoist attached to the scaffold gave way while two workers were in the car. One died on site, the other in hospital that evening.

Construction hoists are machines subject to inspection: anchorage to the scaffold, installation per the manufacturer and sign-off by a competent person – also after every change.
